Strategic Infrastructure

The Decadal Strategy

A deliberate ten-year build, in three phases — beginning as a professional network in 2027, maturing into an accredited education institute by 2032, and constituted as a recognised continental standards authority by 2037. Each phase is funded, governed, and measured against published metrics.

Roadmap 2027 — 2037
2027Phase I

ABPN — The Network

The African Beauty Professionals Network. We open the continental registry, issue every practitioner a verified professional ID, and launch ABPN Connect — a single digital home where stylists, barbers, technicians and artists can be discovered, hired, and recognised across borders. This is the foundation: a workforce that finally exists on the record.

  • 50,000 Professionals
  • 1,000 Businesses
  • 100 Training Institutions
Status — Foundation
2032Phase II

ABPI — The Institute

The Institute phase. AFBPA becomes Africa's accrediting body for beauty education — publishing an open curriculum, examining candidates, training the trainers, and aligning every discipline to a single occupational standard. Salons, schools, and ministries gain a common language for skill, safety, and progression.

  • 250,000 Professionals
  • 5,000 Businesses
  • 500 Institutions

2037Phase III

AFBPA — The Authority

Full Authority status. AFBPA assumes its mature role as a chartered standards body — recognised in national law, advising governments on workforce and trade policy, defending consumers against unsafe practice, and representing African beauty in international forums. A continental profession, formally constituted.

  • 1M Professionals
  • 10,000 Businesses
  • 25 Countries
